Traditional Himalayan Art Buddhist Avalokiteshvara Sculpture
The Buddhist Avalokiteshvara Sculpture was traditionally hand-crafted by the artists of Nepal with traditional Himalayan art techniques. The figure was molded using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted with acrylic paint to highlight the intricate design patterns of the statue. The four-armed deity depicted in the artwork is seated on a moon-shaped lotus. He is holding a flowering lotus in his left hand, rosary beads in his right, two of which are clasped in front of him in a sign of prayer, and a wish-fulfilling crystal in his left hand. This statue of the Chenrezig Avalokiteshvara took out artist months to complete with intricate design patterns over the statue.
The statue of the Buddhist Avalokiteshvara will be the perfect gift for your Buddhist rituals and meditation practices.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
