Manjushri, the esteemed Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is shown seated in a poised and serene manner atop a lotus and moon disc throne—powerful symbols of purity, inner stability, and liberation from illusion. The lotus rising from murky waters signifies the emergence of wisdom from ignorance, while the moon disc reflects the calm clarity that comes with awakened insight. In his right hand, he wields a flaming sword, representing the sharpness of wisdom used to cut through delusion and reveal the ultimate truth. His left hand is raised in the Vitarka Mudra, symbolizing teaching and intellectual discourse, underscoring his role as a bearer of profound Dharma. A blooming lotus near his left arm supports the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra, the sacred text of transcendent wisdom, signifying the fulfillment of ultimate insight and the path to enlightenment.
