Hand-Made Shakyamuni Buddho Meditation Statue
The statue of Shakyamuni Buddho Meditation Statue was artistically hand-carved in Nepal using traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. In this sculpture, we portray him seated on a moon disc lotus seat with a cross-legged posture. Buddha is portrayed holding an alms bowl in his left hand while doing the mudra of the earth-touching with his right hand. A hand-carved robe is draped over his body. It is covered in complex patterning. The edge of the robe and the face are gilded using pure 24K gold. Elegant silver plating has been applied to the robe itself. The statue has a captivating look because of the silver plating and gold gilding. The elaborate patterns were hand-carved using a hammer and tiny chisels. It took us months of hard work to complete the statue.
The Shakyamuni Buddha Statue will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
