Description

Buddhist Deity Figurine Buddho Meditation Sculpture

The statue of the Buddho Meditation Sculpture has been expertly hand-carved in Nepal's traditional Himalayan manner. We are artisans from the Kathmandu Valley, and we have been creating old Vajrayana sculptures for many years. In this Buddhist sculpture, Historical Buddha is seen sitting serenely on a moon disc lotus seat, holding an alms bowl in his left hand and doing the mudra of the earth-touching with his right hand. With valuable corals and turquoise, we have artistically decorated the halo and robe. The hand-carvings on the robe is the main highlight of this figurine. A hammer and small multiple chisels were used. The elegant gold-plated halo illuminates his face, which has been engraved with numerous gemstones and design patterns that signify the importance of the deity.

This Buddho Meditation Sculpture statue will be a wonderful gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
