Tibetan Bodhisattva Chenrezig 1000 Arms Statue For Prayer
We, the Kathmandu artisan, created this Tibetan Bodhisattva Chenrezig 1000 Arms Statue. This piece of art is done by hand using a copper body. Onto which we hand-carve all intricate details of the deity. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. He has to fulfill every minute detail on the statue based on the traditional iconography in Buddhist scriptures. Afterward, the figurine was gilded using genuine 24K gold. We used acrylic paints to highlight the facial expression of the deity. It has a lovely depiction of his many faces and arms while standing on a lotus throne surrounded by brilliantly sculpted Halo. In the statue, he is wearing vibrantly patterned silk and valuable jewels. Out of his 1,000 arms, his left hand is holding a lotus, a bow, and an arrow, while his right hand is holding a crystal rosary, a Dharmachakra, and another in the bestowing mudra. His first two hands are clasped together with a wish-fulfilling stone close to his breast. He has eleven different identities in all. On top of each head, he has three faces, the last of which has a buddha and a wrathful appearance. This figurine weighs about 15.62 kg, and it took us years of hard work to complete it.
This figurine of 1000 arm Chenrezig will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.
