Handmade 24k Gold Plated Sculpture of Chenrezig Avalokiteshvara
We, Kathmandu valley artists, created the Chenrezig Avalokiteshvara Sculpture in Nepal's traditional Himalayan Art. It took months of hard work to finish the art of sculpting because it was exquisitely and finely handcrafted in pure copper and gilded with genuine 24k gold. The crown has been magnificently adorned with precious turquoise and corals, and the ornaments have been elegantly embellished with valuable pearls and jewels. We depicted a deity with a serene expression seated atop a moon disc lotus seat wrapped in silk and beautiful ornaments. His two hands are joined together in prayer. He has a lotus flower in his left hand and rosary beads in his right.
This beautiful four-armed Chenrezig can be a tremendous gift for a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
