Chenrezig Statue | Emblem of Unbound Grace

Handcrafted in Nepal, this sacred Chenrezig Buddha of Compassion statue embodies universal love, enlightened grace, and profound serenity. Standing 28.5cm (11.22 inches) tall with a 23cm (9.05 inches) base and weighing 3.46kg, it is expertly formed from a solid copper body and adorned with lustrous 24K gold gilding, vibrant acrylic painting, and delicate gemstones. The gentle expression and poised posture radiate compassion and spiritual devotion, making this luminous statue a meaningful focal point for altars, meditation spaces, or sacred collections, inviting solace, inspiration, and contemplative reflection.

Chenrezig Buddha, depicted with four benevolent arms, embodies the boundless compassion and altruistic activity of all Buddhas. His two central hands are joined in prayer (Anjali Mudra), holding the wish-fulfilling jewel (cintamani), symbolizing the power to fulfill the spiritual and material needs of sentient beings. The outer hands hold a crystal mala (rosary), representing continuous compassionate activity and the unbroken practice of mantra recitation, and a blooming utpala lotus, symbolizing purity, spiritual awakening, and the blossoming of wisdom amidst samsara. This sacred iconography reflects the inseparable union of wisdom and compassionate action, illustrating the cyclical nature of altruistic engagement and the cultivation of a pure, awakened mind. As a meditation statue, it serves as a profound guide, inspiring practitioners to develop empathy, inner peace, and a dedicated commitment to alleviate the suffering of all beings.

Chenrezig, revered as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit, is the quintessential Bodhisattva of Compassion within Mahayana Buddhism. He embodies the selfless desire to free all sentient beings from suffering, postponing his own Buddhahood until every being is enlightened. In Tibetan Buddhism, he is deeply venerated as the patron deity of Tibet, often invoked through his famous mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum," to cultivate boundless compassion and wisdom within oneself and the world.
