Traditionally Sculpted Chenrezig Buddhist Sculpture
The Buddhist Chenrezig sculpture was meticulously hand-carved by us in Nepal, embracing traditional Himalayan art. We symbolize the Buddhist art of the Kathmandu Valley, whose artisan has passed from generation to generation. A deity with a serene expression portrayed seated on a moon disc lotus seat is expressively mesmerizing. We have adorned the crown with precious turquoise and corals, which illuminates his face. We exquisitely hand-crafted the statue in an oxidized copper body, plated with silver and gilded face with genuine 24 karat gold. This Tibetan statue can be used in a multitude of Vajrayana rituals as well as in everyday yoga or meditation practices.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
