Radiant and serene, the four-armed Chenrezig compassion Buddha statue embodies profound universal love. Standing 48cm tall on its intricately detailed base, this magnificent figure is crafted from a solid copper body, showcasing the zenith of Himalayan artistry. Covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect, its luminous presence, enhanced by meticulous 24K gold gilding and delicate hand-painted details, offers a powerful focal point for spiritual contemplation. This statue radiates divine compassion and grace, making it a perfect centrepiece for any sacred space.

The iconography of this Chenrezig statue is rich with spiritual meaning, fostering a deeper connection to wisdom and purification. His main hands form the Anjali Mudra, embracing the wish-fulfilling jewel, while his upper right hand holds a mala, symbolising continuous practice. The blossoming lotus in his upper left hand represents purity and enlightened awakening. Seated in vajra posture on a lotus throne, he emanates boundless compassion for all beings.

Chenrezig, known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion, revered throughout the Buddhist world. He is believed to hear the cries of all sentient beings and manifests in various forms to alleviate suffering. In Tibetan Buddhism, he is particularly significant, embodying the enlightened compassion of all Buddhas and often associated with the Dalai Lamas. His mantra, Om Mani Padme Hung, is widely recited to invoke his blessings.

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
