Radiating the infinite compassion of Avalokiteshvara, this Chenrezig fire gold-gilded statue is a luminous emblem of peace and mercy. Seated gracefully in the vajra posture atop a double-lotus throne, the Bodhisattva guides all sentient beings toward liberation. Handcrafted in Nepal, this 37 cm (14.5”) tall statue with an 11.4 inch (29 cm) base weighs 5.78 kg and is meticulously crafted from a copper body adorned with 24K gold gilding and delicate acrylic painting. This four-armed Chenrezig statue embodies the boundless compassion of all Buddhas. His central hands are joined at the heart, holding the wish-fulfilling jewel (cintamani), symbolizing altruistic intention and the aspiration to liberate all beings from suffering. The outer right hand gently lifts a crystal mala, representing continuous spiritual practice and the endless repetition of mantra, while the outer left holds a blooming lotus, signifying purity, spiritual awakening, and the unfolding of enlightened qualities. Meditating upon this sacred form cultivates deep empathy, universal love, and a profound connection to the Bodhisattva path.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is the earthly manifestation of the self-born eternal Buddha Amitabha. He is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the patron deity of Tibet, representing the infinite compassion of all Buddhas. By reciting his mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, practitioners seek to align themselves with his boundless loving-kindness to alleviate the suffering of all worldly beings.
