Green Tara, the Swift Savior, sits in her iconic posture, right leg extended, ready to leap to the aid of beings. Her right hand rests on her knee in the gesture of generosity (varada mudra), while her left holds the stem of a utpala (blue lotus) at her heart. She symbolizes immediate action, protection from fear, and boundless compassion.

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
