Gold Gilded Serene Amitayus Buddha Statue for Meditation and Ritual
We, Vajrayana artists from Kathmandu Valley, have masterfully hand-carved the Amitayus buddha statue in the traditional Himalayan style. Here in the statue, the Buddha can be seen peacefully sitting upon a moon disc lotus with an alms bowl over his lap carried by his two hands, which are in the precise position of a 'Dhyan Mudra,' a characteristic hand gesture of Amitabha Buddha. His Unisha and serene facial expression has been beautifully highlighted with acrylic paints. Beautiful turquoise has been placed for his headpiece and ornaments furthering the figure's beauty. The statue is full of intricate patterns and motifs that our artists carved out of copper, then gilded in gold over the course of several months.
This piece has an antique finish providing it with a classic element of antiquity. The statue is perfect for any devotee like yourself and can be used for various Buddhist rituals and activities like meditation and yoga.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
