The Buddha can be seen seated serenely on a moon disc lotus, performing the Amitabha Buddha's signature gesture known as the "Dhyan Mudra," while holding an alms bowl in each hand over his lap. The exquisite details and rich, golden finish of this statue which was made with the highest care and accuracy, are furthered with the acrylic painting. The halo behind the Buddha's head enhances his sublimity.
