The Historical Buddha sits serenely atop a moon disc lotus seat, holding an alms bowl in his right hand while performing the 'Bhumisparsa Mudra,' representing one of the most important moments of Buddha's life, i.e. when the Buddha achieved enlightenment as he claimed the earth as his witness for it.

He carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars in his left hand, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.
