Finely Hand-Carved Green Tara Statue for Protection
The Green Tara statue is composed of copper, painted with acrylic colors, and then gilded in 24K gold, giving it an exquisite and colorful final look. It is handcrafted in our workshop by skilled Vajrayana artisans. The statue's already spectacular beauty is further enhanced by the addition of priceless gemstones. The statue shows Green Tara sitting on a moon disc lotus seat. While clutching an Utpala flower, her right hand is making the "Varada mudra," or the gesture of fulfilling wishes. With her left hand, she is also making the "Prithvi mudra."
The statue is given a lively and sparkling touch by the acrylic colors and jewels, which stand for the bodhisattva's compassionate and transformational abilities. The ideal Buddhist shrine addition can be a meditative accompaniment for yourself or any devotee.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
