Crown Shakyamuni Buddha Statue | Refined Symbol of Enlightened Royalty

This impressive Crown Shakyamuni Buddha Statue stands 35.04”/89cm tall on a 27”/68.5cm base and has a substantial weight of 26.12 kg. Formed from a finely worked copper body, the sculpture is finished with three layers of 24K gold gilding that give it a radiant and richly polished appearance. Deep hand-carved engravings extend across the surface, adding pronounced depth and creating an exceptional 3D-like quality. Carefully applied acrylic colors provide subtle visual contrast, while gemstone embellishments introduce elegant decorative accents. Together, the layered gilding, detailed carving, refined painting, and gemstone work showcase the remarkable precision and craftsmanship devoted to this large-scale piece.

Crown Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated upon an ornate throne, wearing a jeweled crown and royal ornaments that symbolize his spiritual sovereignty and awakened state. His calm expression reflects wisdom, serenity, and inner realization. His right hand forms the Bhumisparsha Mudra, touching the earth to signify the moment he called the earth to witness his enlightenment and victory over Mara, while his left hand rests in meditation, traditionally holding an alms bowl that represents renunciation and disciplined practice. The elaborate throne beneath him emphasizes the dignity and authority of the awakened Buddha, presenting Shakyamuni as both a historical teacher and a supreme embodiment of enlightenment.
