Namgyalma (Ushnishavijaya) is a powerful deity in Vajrayana Buddhism, revered as a protector and embodiment of longevity, purification, and spiritual vitality. She is typically depicted with three faces—white, yellow, and blue—symbolizing the pacification of obstacles, the increase of wisdom and life force, and the subjugation of negativity, with three eyes on each face, representing omniscient awareness across past, present, and future. Her eight arms hold sacred implements including a crossed vajra, a lotus bearing Amitabha, a bow and arrow, a noose, and a long-life vase filled with nectar, each representing her ability to purify karma, extend life, and protect practitioners. Seated in full lotus posture (Vajrasana) on a lotus throne, Namgyalma exudes meditative stability and awakened consciousness.
