Deity of Long Life and good health, White Tara is seated in the statue in the more meditative diamond lotus pose, with her legs folded beneath her and her gaze upwards on her feet. White Tara has seven eyes, one on each of her hands and feet and one on her forehead, showing her compassionate awareness to sense the world's suffering. Her wish-granting mudra is correct, but her guarding mudra is on her left hand. She usually bears a stem of the Utpala lotus flower with three blossoms in her left hand. The first flower is a seed, the second is starting to blossom, and the third has fully bloomed. The Buddhas of the past, present, and future are shown here.
