This Dipankara Buddha Golden Sculpture measures 15.16”/38.5cm in height with an 8.07”/20.5cm base and weighs 4.23 kg. Crafted by skilled Nepali artisans, this sculpture features a copper body covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic painting. The richly applied gold surface enhances the deeply engraved carvings across the Buddha’s robes, pedestal, aureole, and surrounding decorative elements, producing a magnificent 3D-like effect with remarkable depth and texture. The acrylic painting adds carefully applied color to the face, hair, and other fine details, while the elaborate golden arch surrounding the figure further emphasizes the sculptural composition. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
