Disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha, Tibetan Buddhism measures 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) in height with a slender base of 4.7 inches (12 cm), and weighs 5.15 kilograms, giving it an elegant yet substantial presence. Skillfully handcrafted from a solid copper body, it is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. The statue is richly adorned with 24K gold gilding, radiating a luminous, sacred glow. The surface features intricate gold and acrylic paintings that highlight the fine details and spiritual motifs, reflecting the depth of traditional Himalayan craftsmanship.

The Shakyamuni Buddha is portrayed seated, capturing his enlightened essence. He is accompanied by his two prominent disciples, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, who are revered for their profound wisdom and miraculous abilities. Both disciples hold alms bowls and staffs, symbolising their roles as devoted monks and spiritual seekers. The alms bowls represent their humility, reliance on the support of others, and commitment to the monastic way of life. In contrast, the staff signify their authority and dedication to guiding others toward enlightenment. Seated on lotus bases, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana embody purity, spiritual growth, and the unfolding of their journeys toward awakening, free from worldly defilements. The Buddha's halo, adorned with gemstones and featuring a lotus design, radiates wisdom, compassion, and purity, symbolising his enlightened state and transcendence over worldly suffering. With his right hand, the Buddha performs the Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolising the pivotal moment of his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree, where he called upon the earth to witness his awakening. He holds an alms bowl in his left hand, reflecting his life as a wandering monk and his deep compassion for all living beings.
