This Handmade Golden Divine Bodhisattva Chenrezig Statue represents the Lord of Compassion, embodying mercy, loving-kindness, and spiritual guidance. Measuring 8.86” (22.5 cm) in height and 7.09” (18 cm) at the base, and weighing 1.21 kg, it is crafted from copper with 24K gold gilding, detailed gold and acrylic paintings, and adorned with gemstones. The craftsmanship reflects the skill of traditional Nepali artisans, making it a refined addition to personal altars, meditation spaces, or as a meaningful spiritual centerpiece.

In its iconography, Chenrezig is depicted seated in padmasana on a lotus base, with hands in Anjali Mudra, holding the Cintamani (wish-fulfilling jewel), and a rosary in the upper right hand. The upper left hand holds a utpala (blue lotus), symbolizing purity and compassion—a swirling scarf drapes gracefully around the figure. At the same time, the five-pointed crown represents the Five Dhyani Buddhas. The deer-shaped shoulders further enhance the sacred and auspicious symbolism of the Bodhisattva.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion, one of the most revered figures in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. His name means “The One Who Looks Down with Compassion,” reflecting his vow to respond to the suffering of all sentient beings.
