Himalayam Divine Guardian Zhajilamu Statue for Shrine Altar

Divine Guardian Zhajilamu Statue measures 7.3 inches (18.5 cm) in height and 9.3 inches (23.5 cm) across the base, weighing 1.54 kg. Crafted from a copper body, it is gilded with 24K gold and intricately detailed with gold and acrylic paintings. Representing a fierce, wrathful protector in Vajrayana Buddhism, this statue exudes spiritual power and guardianship. Perfect for altars, meditation spaces, or collections of sacred Tibetan art, it embodies strength and divine protection.

Zhajilamu is depicted with an intense, wrathful face, signifying her power to ward off evil and protect devotees. Her skin is black, emphasizing her fierce and supernatural nature. She has large, bulging eyes, often with blue eyelids and golden pupils, conveying vigilance and supernatural awareness. Her mouth is wide open, displaying a long, red or black tongue that is permanently extended. This feature is rooted in legend: after being poisoned by a jealous fairy, she expelled the poison onto her tongue, which remained blackened and extended as a result. Zhajilamu’s feet are shaped like chicken claws. According to legend, after an envious fairy cut off her feet, they miraculously regrew in this form, earning her the epithets "Chicken-Foot Goddess" or "Chicken-Claw Goddess."
