Description

40.5cm Handmade Statue of Dorje Pagmo

This 40.5 cm Dorje Phagmo statue is masterfully handcrafted from a copper body and adorned with 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic paintings. Covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect, it weighs 3.29 kg and rests on a sun-disc lotus base, encircled by a radiant flaming halo that emphasizes her dynamic and powerful presence. Designed by skilled Nepali artisans, this piece makes a striking addition to personal shrines, meditation areas, or spiritual collections.

Dorje Phagmo, a revered female deity in Vajrayana Buddhism, is depicted wearing a five-skull crown symbolizing the transformation of the five poisons into wisdom. A horse’s head rises above her own, signifying her tantric power and spiritual authority. In her right hand she wields a kartika (ritual chopper), cutting through ignorance, while her left hand holds a skull cup filled with nectar of wisdom and compassion. Resting against her shoulder is a khaṭvāṅga, symbolizing her consort’s presence. She is adorned with a necklace of fifty freshly severed skulls, representing purification of negative karma, and is shown trampling an evil being beneath her feet, symbolizing victory over ignorance and obstacles.
