Himalayan Religious Dorje Sempa Mantra Sculpture For Virtue Practice

With the knowledge and skill we gained from Sculpting sculpture for many years, we present the Himalayan Religious Dorje Sempa Mantra Sculpture for virtue practice. Dorje Sempa's practice helps us purify obscurations, and any broken Samaya vows after initiation. Our Dorje Sempa Sculpture, alternatively known as Vajrasattva, was fully hand-carved, and all those intricate patterns are also designed by hand. Vajrasattva is depicted seated upon a moon disk, holding a vajra in his right hand and a vajra bell in his left, respectively. This scrupulous hand-carved statue is perfect for your Vajrasattva practice.

Vajrasatva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
