Standing 13.4"/34 cm tall and 9.4"/24 cm at the base, this handcrafted Nepalese Dukar Statue, also called the White Parasol Bodhisattva, weighs 4.02 kg. It is composed of copper, gilded in three layers with 24K gold, and carved with intricately engraved designs that provide a stunning three-dimensional appearance. This statue exhibits traditional artistry with its gold and acrylic paintings and gemstone inlay. Her left hand elegantly holds a mirror-like ritual tool, representing clarity and reflection, while her right hand holds a parasol, a symbol of protection and spiritual sovereignty. She is depicted with calm elegance. As she sits comfortably in the vajrāsana position on a moon disc that is perched atop a lotus blossom, she represents steadiness and innocence. A five-pointed crown on her head represents the transcendence of the five aggregates and the embodiment of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. As a reflection of her elevated bodhisattva status, her body is richly adorned with elaborate jewelry and flowing clothes. A third eye, which symbolizes her omniscient wisdom and the awakened awareness that perceives all planes of reality, is gently placed on her forehead.
