Description

Dzambhala Wealth God Spiritual Statue – A Beacon of Abundance

This Dzambhala Wealth God Spiritual Statue measures 8.07 inches (20.5 cm) in height, rests upon a 7.28-inch (18.5 cm) base, and weighs 1.61 kg. Handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, the sculpture is formed from a copper body and enriched with radiant 24K gold gilding, detailed acrylic painting, and carefully placed gemstones. The luminous finish highlights the deity’s expressive face, rounded form, elaborate crown, celestial ornaments, flowing garments, and sculpted pedestal. Colorful painted accents and gemstone embellishments add depth to selected details while preserving the traditional character of the Himalayan metalwork. Its compact proportions and richly ornamented appearance make it a meaningful focal point for a Buddhist altar, wealth shrine, contemplative setting, or collection of Vajrayana art.

Dzambhala is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as a wealth deity whose generosity extends beyond material prosperity to include spiritual abundance, favorable circumstances, and freedom from the hardships that obstruct Dharma practice. He is commonly portrayed with a powerful, regal bearing and adorned with a jeweled crown and princely ornaments, expressing his authority over worldly and spiritual resources. One of his defining attributes is the jewel-spitting mongoose held in his left hand, symbolizing the release of treasures and the overcoming of greed, miserliness, and poverty. His other hand carries a wealth-bearing attribute associated with prosperity and the fulfillment of beneficial aspirations. Rather than encouraging attachment to possessions, Dzambhala’s iconography reminds practitioners to cultivate generosity, use resources wisely, and dedicate abundance toward the well-being of others.

Dzambhala, also known as Jambhala, is the Buddhist God of Wealth and the chief of the Five Jambhalas. He is regarded as an emanation of Avalokiteshvara or Manjushri, symbolizing generosity and the alleviation of poverty. Devotion to Dzambhala is believed to bring material prosperity, which in turn supports spiritual practice and virtuous deeds. He grants both outer and inner wealth, helping devotees overcome obstacles related to financial hardship and encouraging compassionate action.
