Feminine divine energy Cundi stands 16.1 inches (41 cm) tall with a base width of 15.9 inches (40.5 cm) and weighs approximately 6.73 kilograms. It is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture is handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
Cundi is typically depicted seated on a lotus throne, symbolizing purity and spiritual elevation. She is adorned with a bejeweled crown, sometimes featuring a small Buddha image, and wears elaborate pearl, jade, and celestial garments. The most iconic form of Cundi features sixteen arms. Each of her Sixteen arms holds a different ritual implement, representing her vast skillful means (upaya) and the eighteen merits or qualities of attaining Buddhahood. The two central hands are joined in a Namsate mudra, also known as the Root Mudra or Mudra of Life, symbolizing the essence of her compassionate activity. Cundi is depicted with three eyes, representing omniscient wisdom and insight.
