Four-armed Chenrezig is one of the most popular bodhisattva in Vajrayana. It is used to do visual meditation practice to develop a clam, kind and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in Buddhist path.

His two front hands are in a devotional gesture, clasped in front of his jewel-draped heart. His upper right hand holds his special symbol, a crystal akshamala, or rosary, symbol of the never-ending cycle. And his upper left hand holds a lotus symbolizing compassion.
