Chenrezig’s four arms embody the Four Immeasurables of Buddhism: loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. His central hands are held together in Anjali Mudra at the heart, cradling the wish-fulfilling jewel (Chintamani) to represent the union of compassion and wisdom. The upper right hand holds a crystal mala, symbolizing continuous compassion and the ceaseless recitation of Om Mani Padme Hum, while the upper left hand holds a blooming utpala lotus, signifying purity rising above worldly suffering. Seated in full vajra posture atop a lotus and moon disc, he radiates enlightened clarity and inspires inner peace, devotion, and spiritual awakening.
