Finely Hand Carved Gautam Buddha Sculpture
We are the artist of Kathmandu Valley who has sculpted the exquisite sculpture of Gautam Buddha, also known as Shakyamuni Buddha. Our artisan of Nepali statues has passed from generation to generation in the traditional Himalayan style. Siddartha Gautama, depicted on the top of the moon disc in a meditating expression, is mesmerizing and can be used in many Buddhist rituals or occasions. You can also use the statue for meditation, yoga, and even home decors. We have used genuine 24k gold to gild and plate the sculpture and copper to craft it. The deity is adorned with a meticulously designed robe and embellished with valuable gemstones.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
