Hand-Crafted Gautam Buddha Statue for Home

We are a group of artisans who meticulously hand-carved the Gautam Buddha Statue design in the Himalayan style suitable for Home. We have been carving Buddhist holy deities in accordance with Buddhist iconography for over three decades. Gautama is depicted in this figurine as sitting on the moon disc of a lotus seat, gazing serenely at Buddha at the time of his enlightenment. His left hand is holding an alms bowl, and his right hand is performing the earth-touching mudra. The oxidized copper used in the figurine's molding gives the statue an antique appearance.

This historical Buddha figurine will be an ideal Nepalese gift in your home for a devotee like you, assisting you in your daily practices and activities such as meditation and yoga.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
