Handmade Golden Avalokiteshvara Statue | Tibetan Sculpture of the Bodhisattva of Compassion

This handmade golden Avalokiteshvara statue, also known as the bodhisattva of compassion, measures 18.1 inches (46 cm) in height and 13.4 inches (34 cm) at the base, weighing 9.98 kg. It is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, adorned with gemstones and handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

The deity sits on a moon-disc lotus seat. A crystal rosary in the upper right hand symbolizes the never-ending cycle of life, death, and regeneration. The lotus in the upper left-hand represents the deity's role in assisting mankind to overcome adversity and unpleasant conditions, including hellish realms. The lower hands are gently put in a namaste motion, grasping a wish-fulfilling Jewel. The deity's peaceful and calm expression symbolizes compassion and tranquility.
