Kshitigarbha Bodhisattva is one of the four principal bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism, particularly revered in East Asia. His name translates to 'Earth Store' or 'Earth Womb,' symbolizing his profound capacity to store and protect all good qualities and virtues. He is celebrated for his vow to postpone his own Buddhahood until all hells are emptied, actively teaching and guiding beings through the six realms of existence, especially those suffering in the hell realms.
