Manjushri, the venerated Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is depicted seated gracefully upon a lotus and moon disc throne, symbols of spiritual purity, stability, and freedom from illusion. The lotus rising from murky waters represents wisdom emerging from ignorance, while the moon disc reflects the clarity and tranquility of an awakened mind. In his right hand, he wields a flaming sword, symbolizing the incisive power of wisdom to cut through delusion and expose the ultimate truth. His left hand displays the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of teaching and intellectual exchange, highlighting his role as a master of profound Dharma. Near his left arm, a lotus flower cradles the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra, a sacred scripture embodying the perfection of transcendent wisdom that leads to enlightenment. Adorned with celestial ornaments and a crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas—each signifying one of the five wisdoms that dissolve ignorance—Manjushri serves as a radiant guide, assisting sentient beings in realizing ultimate truth and liberation from suffering.
