Handmade Golden Zhabdrung Rinpoche Statue | Founder of Bhutan

The Golden Zhabdrung Rinpoche Statue stands 9.6 inches (24.5 cm) tall with a 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) broad base and weighs 2.01 kilograms. Made from a copper body, it features 24K gold gilding and gold and acrylic paintings. Expertly crafted by skilled Nepali artisans, it offers a refined presence ideal for altars, meditation areas, or spiritual interiors.

This Guru Saptdum Statue is depicted seated on a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. The right hand is in bhumisparsha mudra, representing steadfastness and calling the earth to witness enlightenment, while the left hand holds a kalasha (vase), signifying abundance and spiritual blessings. He is adorned with a hat, emphasizing his spiritual authority and enlightened presence.

Zhabdrung Rinpoche, Ngawang Namgyal, is a highly esteemed figure in Vajrayana Buddhism, famously known as the unifier of Bhutan. Originally from Tibet, he escaped political turmoil in the mid-17th century and established a stable government in Bhutan, blending spiritual and secular rule. He introduced the Drukpa Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and initiated a policy of state-sponsored religion. Zhabdrung Rinpoche's legacy solidified Bhutan’s Buddhist identity and inspired the creation of massive dzongs (fortress-monasteries), transforming Bhutan into a unified kingdom and a significant center of Vajrayana practice and culture.

Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.

2. In Case of Customs Return, where the package is returned to us from customs due to incomplete documentation, unresponsiveness, or refusal to accept the parcel by the receiver, we will deduct certain percentage of the order value to cover the international shipping and handling costs.
