Gold-Gilded Buddhist Deity Statue For Green Tara Benefits
The Gold-Gilded Green Tara Benefits statue, was expertly hand-carved by us in Nepal using traditional Himalayan art techniques. We are artisans from the Kathmandu Valley, skilled craftspeople who have produced high-quality Buddhist deity sculptures for decades. In this statue, the deity is seen with both hands holding an utpala while her left hand is in the vitarka mudra, and her right hand is making the varada mudra. She is seated on top of a moon disc lotus seat and has a tranquil smile. Copper is used to forming the body. The statue has been hand carved with intricate designs. After the designs were finished, we gilded the statue in real 24K gold. Acrylic paints are used to emphasize the statue's qualities even further. We have added valuable turquoise and corals to the crown and utpala, as well as precious pearls and gemstones to the ornaments and lotus seat.
This statue weighs about 10.85 kg, and it took us months and months of hard work and dedication to complete.

Green Tara is the manifestation from whence all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she is the embodiment of enlightened love and compassion.
