Goddess Green Tara Sculpture | Revered Female Buddha of Protection and Compassion

Goddess Green Tara Sculpture measures 14.17”/36cm in height with an 11.81”/30cm base and weighs 5.48 kg. Handcrafted in Nepal by skilled artisans, the sculpture features a copper body enhanced with gold and acrylic painting, along with carefully handcarved gemstones. The gold detailing highlights the sculpted form and ornamental elements, while the acrylic painting adds refined color and definition to the facial features, garments, and decorative details. The handcarved gemstone embellishments further enrich the surface with texture and visual depth, reflecting the precision and dedication of traditional Nepalese metal craftsmanship.

Green Tara is depicted seated gracefully in the royal ease posture, with one leg folded inward and the other extended forward, expressing readiness to assist sentient beings. Her right hand extends downward in varada mudra, with the palm facing outward in a gesture of generosity, while her left hand is raised near the heart in a protective gesture and holds the stem of a lotus. She has a serene expression, a green complexion, and a small urna on the forehead, and is adorned with an elaborate five-jeweled crown, large earrings, layered necklaces, armlets, bracelets, and flowing ornaments. Two lotus flowers rise beside her shoulders, with one blooming prominently on each side. Her garments are richly decorated with intricate gold-patterned designs, while the lotus pedestal is extensively carved with layered petals, floral scrollwork, and colorful gemstone-like details. The elaborate ornamental elements surrounding the figure further enhance the refined and richly detailed appearance of the sculpture.
