Description

Tibetan Art Of Mother Green Tara Deity Sculpture

We sculpted the Green Tara Deity Sculpture with a copper body, gilded with genuine 24-karat gold, and meticulously hand-painted with acrylic colors to showcase the craftsmanship's finer points. With a serene look and a lotus in each palm, we have portrayed a Green Tara sitting atop a moon disc lotus throne. Her right hand is in varada mudra, while her left is in vitarka mudra. The crown, silk scarf, robe, body ornaments (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets), lotus seat, utpala in hands, and palm are adorned with various valuable gemstones. Even the gemstones differ in color. Hence these give the statue a captivating look. The hand-carving on the robe is on a whole other level. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve those intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. The figurine weighs about 19.81 kg.

You can use this Mother Tara for different Buddhist ceremonies, Rituals, in Monasteries, and even for personal activities like daily Yoga and meditation.

Green Tara is portrayed as compassionate, providing comfort and protection from the world's suffering. In Buddhism, her mantra is "om tare tuttare ture soha" by reciting this mantra; We are merely asking for Tara's blessings and assistance with our daily lives and "real world" problems. To be freed from the misery of mental delusions and negative emotions, and to achieve the same enlightened body, speech, and mind that Tara represents, not just for our benefit, but for the benefit of all sentient beings.
