Traditionally Handmade Gold Statue of Green Tara
Hand-Carved in a traditional Himalayan method of Nepal, We sculpted this beautiful gold statue of Green Tara in our studio. We are a group of Vajrayana sculpting artists devoted to bringing the sacred deities to life in their proper iconographic form. The Compassionate Goddess is depicted seated serenely on a moon disc lotus seat, her left hand making the Prithvi Mudra, which symbolizes the combination of wisdom and compassion, and her right hand making the gesture of offering shelter. We have adorned the deity with precious gemstones on the crown, body ornaments like necklaces, anklets, bracelets, lotus seats, and an utpala.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
