Green Tara is depicted in the elegant royal ease posture (Lalitasana), with her right leg extended and left leg folded, expressing the perfect balance between meditative calm and her readiness to swiftly assist sentient beings. Her right hand extends in the Varada Mudra, the gesture of generosity, symbolizing her willingness to grant blessings, offer compassionate support, and respond to the needs of devotees. Her left hand is held near the heart in a protective gesture while holding the stem of a blue utpala lotus, representing purity, compassion, and the blossoming of enlightened wisdom from the difficulties of samsara. She is richly adorned with traditional Bodhisattva ornaments, including a five-jeweled crown, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets, which emphasize her enlightened status and the refined qualities of the Bodhisattva path.
