Description

Handcrafted Tibetan Green Tara Pure Land Bodhisattva Sculpture with Compassion and Swift Liberation

This Green Tara Pure Land Bodhisattva statue, crafted with a copper body, demonstrates their expertise and passion in every tiny detail, representing centuries of tradition and reverence. The statue is handcrafted in Nepal, with the copper body delicately embellished with triple layers of 24K gold gilding, deeply engraved carving, and intricate acrylic and gold paintings.

Green Tara is often shown seated on a lotus throne with her right leg typically extended forward, signifying her active compassion and willingness to help. Her hands express profound meaning through their gestures: the right hand is displayed in the "gesture of giving" (Varada Mudra), symbolizing her boundless generosity and willingness to provide blessings. Meanwhile, her left hand delicately holds a blue lotus (Utpala), a symbol of purity and spiritual awakening, offering protection and reassurance to those who seek her guidance.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, who reaches out and freely replies to everyone's suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
