Golden Green Tara Statue: The Buddhist Compassionate Goddess

This Handmade Golden Green Tara Statue, known as the Buddhist Compassionate Goddess, stands 13.0 inches (33 cm) tall with a base width of 10.4 inches (26.5 cm) and weighs 4.02 kilograms. Crafted from a copper body, it is richly adorned with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paintings. Expertly made by skilled Nepali artisans, this statue reflects traditional craftsmanship and makes a refined addition to altars, meditation spaces, or personal spiritual collections.

Iconographically, Green Tara is depicted seated on a lotus base with her right leg extended and left leg folded, symbolizing readiness to spring into action to aid sentient beings. She wears a five-pointed crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Her right hand is in varada mudra, the gesture of granting blessings, while her left hand holds three jewels, symbolizing the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Both hands also hold lotus flowers, representing purity and compassion.
