Green Tara Buddhist Statue | The Sacred Essence of Grace and Swift Liberation
Dukar Buddhist Statue measures 13.5”/34.5cm in height with an 11.2”/28.5cm base and weighs 4.38 kg, offering a refined expression of traditional Nepalese Buddhist craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Nepal from a copper body, the sculpture is finished with 24K gold gilding, detailed acrylic painting, and carefully placed gemstones that bring warmth, color, and visual depth to the finely worked surface. The radiant gilded finish, precise painted accents, and decorative embellishments reflect the skill of Nepalese artisans and the enduring traditions of Himalayan sacred metalwork. Spiritually, the figure is revered as a powerful protector associated with safeguarding practitioners, dispelling harmful influences, and removing obstacles, making this piece a meaningful addition to Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, Dharma centers, or sacred collections.
This Green Tara is depicted seated in a relaxed posture on an intricately carved double-layer lotus pedestal, with her right leg extended forward and her left leg folded in meditation. Her right hand extends downward in the gesture of generosity, while her left hand is raised near the chest in a graceful mudra. She has a serene expression, gently lowered eyes, blue-black hair, and an elaborate jeweled crown with a high central ornament. Large ornamental earrings, layered necklaces, armlets, bracelets, and a jeweled waist ornament adorn her body. Two flowering lotus stems rise behind her shoulders, each bearing a lotus blossom, while flowing scarves curve around her arms and sides. Her lower garment is richly patterned with engraved floral and geometric designs, accented with turquoise and red gemstones. The entire figure is richly gilded, with detailed ornamentation extending across the crown, jewelry, garments, lotus flowers, scarves, and elaborately decorated lotus throne.
