In his right hand, he holds a vajra, symbolising unbreakable spiritual power, while his left hand grasps a lasso, used to bind and overcome hostile forces. The statue depicts Vajrapani in his dynamic alidhasana stance, poised with one knee raised and the other trampling a mara, representing his victory over ignorance and evil. A flaming halo blazes behind him, signifying his fierce energy and wrathful compassion. He wears a five-skull crown, symbolising the transformation of the five poisons into wisdom, and a serpent-like sash drapes around his body.
