Guru Rinpoche Copper Statue | Illuminating Wisdom & Protection

This Guru Rinpoche Copper Statue is crafted in Nepal using a copper body, enhanced with 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic painting that bring out the fine surface work of the sculpture. Measuring 13.39”/34 cm in height with an 8.07”/20.5 cm base and weighing 3.8 kg, the piece displays carefully carved details, elegant ornamental patterns, and refined finishing throughout its design. The balanced combination of gilded accents and painted elements reflects the traditional techniques and skilled craftsmanship of Himalayan statue making.

The “Second Buddha” of Tibetan Buddhism represents enlightened wisdom, compassion, spiritual power, and the profound teachings of Vajrayana practice. His sacred form reflects the mastery of tantric realization and the ability to transform obstacles, negative forces, and ordinary experiences into awakened awareness. He is depicted seated in the royal ease posture (Lalitasana), expressing confidence, stability, and the balance between deep meditation and compassionate activity. His right hand holds the vajra (dorje) near his heart, symbolizing indestructible wisdom, compassion, and skillful means, while his left hand holds the skull cup (kapala) containing the vase of immortality, representing the transformation of ordinary perception into enlightened wisdom. The khatvanga staff resting against his shoulder signifies tantric mastery, spiritual accomplishment, and the union of wisdom and method. His distinctive lotus hat, flowing robes, and sacred ornaments reflect his role as a realized master and teacher who established the Vajrayana tradition in Tibet. This sacred representation inspires practitioners to cultivate devotion, courage, purification, and inner transformation on the path toward awakening.
