A meaningful representation of one of Tibet’s most revered masters, this Guru Rinpoche Sacred Figurine showcases the refined artistry and traditional craftsmanship of Himalayan Buddhist sculpture. Measuring 40 cm (15.75 inches) in height with a 27 cm (10.63 inches) base and weighing 6.31 kg, it features a copper body enhanced with 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic painting. The radiant gold surface highlights the lotus hat, peaceful expression, ritual attributes, flowing robes, and intricate ornaments, while the acrylic painting adds refined color, definition, and subtle depth to selected details. This sacred creation reflects the dedication and skill of Himalayan artisans in preserving the presence of the master renowned for profound teachings, tantric wisdom, and the transmission of Vajrayana Buddhism.

Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), known as the “Second Buddha” of Tibetan Buddhism, represents spiritual realization, enlightened wisdom, compassion, and the transformative power of Vajrayana teachings. His sacred form reflects his role as a great tantric master who overcame obstacles and established the Dharma in Tibet. He is depicted seated in the royal ease posture (Lalitasana), expressing confidence, stability, and profound spiritual accomplishment. His right hand holds the vajra (dorje), symbolizing indestructible wisdom, compassion, and the unchanging nature of awakened awareness, while his left hand holds the skull cup (kapala), representing the transformation of negative emotions and ordinary experiences into enlightened wisdom. The khatvanga staff resting against his shoulder signifies tantric mastery, spiritual attainment, and the union of wisdom and skillful means.
