Hand Carved Sacred Shakyamuni Buddha Statue: A Beacon of Enlightenment

Hand Carved Sacred Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is a finely handcrafted Buddhist sculpture created by skilled Nepali artisans, measuring 18.5 inches (47cm) in height with a 14.5 inches (37cm) base and weighing 10.46 kg. Crafted from an oxidized copper body and richly adorned with 24K gold gilding, acrylic painting, and silver plating, this statue showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and traditional techniques of Himalayan metalwork. Its majestic presence, detailed finish, and refined materials make it suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual collections.

The sculpture depicts Shakyamuni Buddha in his enlightened form, seated in the traditional meditation posture upon an intricately designed lotus pedestal. His right hand extends downward in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, the earth-touching gesture, while his left hand rests in his lap holding an alms bowl. The statue features a peaceful facial expression, elongated earlobes, a raised ushnisha, and a gentle downward gaze, reflecting the serene presence of the Buddha. His monastic robe is finely carved with delicate folds and engraved patterns, while the combination of gold gilding and silver plating enhances the intricate details of the figure, pedestal, and decorative elements. The oxidized copper finish adds depth and character, highlighting the skilled craftsmanship throughout the sculpture.
