Craftsmanship
This exceptional sculpture reflects the refined craftsmanship of traditional Nepalese sacred metalwork, created in Patan, Nepal, using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The sculpture features a copper body with 24K gold gilding, acrylic painting, and handcarved gemstones. It is covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. The intricate crown, jewelry, robe patterns, aureole, and throne are meticulously carved and hand-finished, while the carefully set gemstones add rich color and depth to the gilded surface. The combination of precise modeling, deep engraving, detailed ornamentation, and meticulous finishing reflects the skill and patience of master Nepalese artisans.
