This handcrafted Shyama Tara golden statue depicts Green Tara (Drolma), the swift liberator, in her posture of royal ease. Poised at 18.7”/47.5cm tall, she is ready to spring into compassionate action. Cast from a sturdy copper body, this significant spiritual artwork radiates a divine glow, making it a focal point for any meditation space.

The meticulous creation of this Buddhist art piece showcases traditional craftsmanship. Lavishly adorned with 24K gold gilding across her form and crown, the statue also features "Mercy Gold Plated" elements for a brilliant, continuous golden surface. Vibrant acrylic paintings define her dark hair, serene facial features, and intricate robe patterns, while hand-inlaid gemstones add precious luminescence to her regal attire.

Green Tara’s iconography speaks volumes of her compassionate nature. Her right hand extends in the Varada Mudra, symbolising supreme generosity, while her left, in the Abhaya Mudra, dispels fear. She holds the stems of Utpala lotuses, symbols of purity and spiritual awakening. She embodies active compassion, fearlessness, and protection, serving as a powerful guide on the path to enlightenment and a source of refuge from all fears and obstacles. She is one of the most widely venerated deities in the Tibetan pantheon.

There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
