This Chenrezig Buddha Statue in Oxidized Copper stands 9.8 inches (25 cm) high upon a 7.8-inch (20 cm) base and weighs 2.55 kg. Handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, the sculpture is formed entirely from oxidized copper, creating a rich, darkened surface that emphasizes the finely sculpted crown, jewelry, flowing scarves, garments, and sacred attributes. Chenrezig is depicted with four arms, seated peacefully in the vajra posture upon a lotus pedestal. His two central hands are joined at his heart in a devotional gesture, traditionally holding the wish-fulfilling jewel, while his outer right hand holds a mala and his outer left hand carries a blooming lotus. The mala reflects the continuous recitation of compassionate prayers, and the lotus conveys purity amid the difficulties of worldly existence. His elaborate crown, celestial ornaments, gently lowered eyes, and calm expression establish his graceful bodhisattva appearance.
